At Parceros, in downtown Mérida, a few steps from Parque de Santa Lucía. When the national team plays we usually put on the whole thing, the way we did for the 2026 World Cup final: the match on screen and the Colombian party afterwards.
We say «usually» on purpose rather than «every match», because it depends on the day and the kick-off time — some matches land mid-morning on a Tuesday. What we can do is confirm it for you: message us on WhatsApp before you come and we will tell you whether that match is on.
Why here rather than a sports bar
Because it is not only the screen. A Colombia match is not watched in silence: it is watched with people shouting the same things at the same moments, wearing the shirt — and when it ends, if it ends well, nobody turns off the television and goes home.
There are a good number of Colombians in Mérida, and on the big matches this place fills with people who did not know each other beforehand. That is half the plan. The other half is that when it is over there is real Colombian food and live Colombian music.
What to eat while you watch
The things you pick at and share, which is what survives ninety minutes without cutlery: patacones, empanadas, arepitas, chicharrón with guacamole, the Picada Montañera for the middle of the table. And for anyone who arrives properly hungry, the bandeja.
