A new home for the same story

We are not in La Castellana anymore. We are downtown.

Parceros is still open. We are now La Bodeguita de Parceros, in the historic center of Mérida, a few steps from Parque de Santa Lucía.

A letter from downtown

We did not just change address

We are Mau, Lu and Leidys. If you shared a table with us in La Castellana, you may remember Leidys at the door, knowing people by name; Mau and Lu, moving between the kitchen and the books.

La Castellana was the biggest bet we had ever made: almost two years of work and every peso we had saved, all behind one idea — to do Colombia justice in Mérida. It lasted five months. When that chapter ended, we lost nearly everything we had built, and there were weeks when we truly thought about stopping.

We are not telling you this for sympathy. We are telling you because the people who were with us in those five months are part of our story, and we have not forgotten that.

Downtown is not just a new pin on the map. It is the home where we decided to start again: the same kitchen, the same people and a place we built back up, wall by wall.

Mau, Lu and Leidys

The kitchen, the books and the front door of Parceros

Made by hand

We built it back up, wall by wall

The murals did not come with the place: we painted them in the days before opening, scaffolding up and the floor covered in paint cans.

  • Two muralists up a ladder painting the «Sonríe, estás en Colombia» mural, the floor still covered in paint cans
  • A muralist crouching to paint the palenquera's mango cart, with the scaffolding beside him

What Parceros feels like downtown

A room inside, a terrace under the tree, a bar of our own and colored umbrellas everywhere.

  • The indoor room at Parceros, its ceiling covered in colored umbrellas, with the «El flow no se explica, se siente» mural
  • The terrace by day, under a huge tree hung with dozens of colored umbrellas
  • The patio bar lit up at night, against the wall painted like a Colombian street front
  • The «Sonríe, estás en Colombia» mural: a street of colored houses with a palenquera and her mango cart
  • Colored umbrellas hanging from the branches of the tree against a blue sky
  • The patio full of diners at night, under the umbrella ceiling and the string lights

Our door is downtown

How to get here

We are right in the historic center, a few steps from Parque de Santa Lucía.

We know it is farther than La Castellana. That is why the car was the first thing we solved here.

Valet parking Friday through Sunday — exactly the days when downtown does not have a free spot.

What people ask us

Is Parceros still open?

Did Parceros close down?

No. Parceros is still open — what we did was change address. We are now at Calle 62 #443, Parque Santa Lucía, Centro, Mérida, a few steps from Parque de Santa Lucía, and we open every day.

Are you still in the La Castellana neighborhood?

No. We were in La Castellana from September 2025 to February 2026. Since May 2026 the restaurant has been in the historic center of Mérida, and that is the only location still open.

Where is Parceros now?

At Calle 62 #443, Parque Santa Lucía, Centro, Mérida, Yucatán, a few steps from Parque de Santa Lucía. This is the location called La Bodeguita de Parceros, and there is valet parking on weekends.

Is it the same Parceros as before?

Yes. Same owners, same kitchen and the same team that looked after you in La Castellana. What changed is the place: it is downtown, rebuilt, and the menu is new.
