The festival moved
The posters that have been going around for weeks show a different place. The organizers announced the move on September 20, 2026, so if you saved the artwork to your phone, that part is out of date. Same festival, same days, same hours — only the location changed.

Where is Carnívoro Fest 2026?
At the Complejo Deportivo Kukulkán esplanade in Mérida, Yucatán — the same complex as the Leones de Yucatán baseball stadium. The entrance is at Circuito Colonias and Calle 28, Unidad Morelos. Note that the festival changed venues on September 20, 2026; the posters still going around say Unidad Deportiva La Inalámbrica, which no longer applies.
How much does it cost to get in?
Nothing. Carnívoro Fest has free entry both days, per the organizers. You only pay for what you eat and drink inside.
What days and hours is it open?
Saturday October 3, 2026 from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday October 4 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. The two days are not the same: Sunday opens earlier and closes earlier.
Can I bring kids or my dog?
Yes. The organizers bill it as a family event and as pet friendly.
Will Parceros be at Carnívoro Fest?
Yes, both days. We're across from the lucha libre ring, at the start of the route (stands 27 and 28 on the layout). We're bringing Castacón, Chicharrón Trancao, cheese arepas and two things that aren't on our restaurant menu: arepa tortillas and plantain tortillas.

Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 7 p.m., on the same Complejo Deportivo Kukulkán esplanade. It's the Copa Carnívora Vol. 4, with the Agrupación Mexicana de Lucha Libre.
Who organizes Carnívoro Fest?
Yucatán Gastrocultural. It's a twice-yearly meat and live-fire festival in Mérida, and this is its fourth edition. Parceros doesn't organize it — we take part as a vendor.
