There's a line painted at the entrance, in big letters over a street of colored houses: «Sonríe, estás en Colombia» — smile, you're in Colombia. It's the first thing you see and the background of almost every photo taken here. It isn't filler decoration: it's the thesis of the place, written on the wall.
What's painted
The big mural is a Colombian street: houses in colors, a palenquera with her mango cart, umbrellas strung from side to side. Inside there are two more — one of Maluma with the line «El flow no se explica, se siente», and one of J Balvin surrounded by tropical flowers.
And above all there's the ceiling: dozens of colored umbrellas hanging from the branches of an enormous tree on the terrace, and from the ceiling in the dining room. It's what makes this place feel less like a Colombian restaurant and more like a street over there.
Why it's in Santa Lucía
In April 2026 we moved into the historic center, to the house we call La Bodeguita de Parceros, at Calle 62 #443 between 51 and 53. It's two blocks from Parque de Santa Lucía, which is where the city goes to sing on Thursdays. Choosing downtown was choosing to be in the middle of that.
